I've grown up on PC's my entire life, so I don't know much about macs
I'm assuming I can't transfer files directly from a mac to a pc? Like I can't hook both of them up to the same network and share files between the two?
It isn't just the lappy breaking that I'm worried about. That's a large part of it, but even if someone promised me the notebook wouldn't break I wouldn't buy from Dell on principle. They abused me and lost my business.
Maybe I should clarify a bit. I'm not that concerned about how low the resolution can go. I just want a nice screen overall. I want to be able to hit higher resolutions with a clear and crisp screen that is easy on the eyes.
Budget - $1,000.00 But I would like to spend less if possible.
The lappy will be used for word processing, some dvd viewing, internet surfing.
It will be carried from home to school and used on the go and on a desk.
