I have the same problem trying to make the recovery cd, i tried 6 times with different CD's, finnaly I just E-mail Dell and had them send me the CD's, still waiting for them. It's only been a couple days.

Your right! Maybe that's why I did that, I still wish I would have gotten a second battery, your 700m looks sweet! I tried using the dell...
I've got the 2.0 Ver with 1G of Ram, nice performer and very quiet, like Richard said it gets a little warm left of the touch pad.
I can hear the HD on boot, but that's about it, I don't even notice it making noise.
