the 1600m is identical to the 8700m I would try to get the 8800m working

I have allready pointed this out about the 7600g. and overclocked it actually performs worse and underlocks itself. there is a huge testbed and article i recently linked to about this that someone over at nbr pointed...

just read it with nibior change the clocks to 500 1250 800 and flash it back. very very simple. I have flashed my 8800 40 times now.

a way to get rid of the downclocking is to edit the bios and change the stages to all reflect 500/800 then when it downclocks all the diff stages wil have 500/800

yup, I have seen this on Clevo 57 RU's with 8800m gtx's The Clocks get downclocked and they get sub par performance. on a great note I managed to Pin mod my laptop's q6600 and now I have 3ghz 1333mhz fsb stable. 12396 marks with 1 card

it is a crap coded game. an something lol if it wasn't a crap coded game then the 7950 should be better than an 8600..... duh.

from what I can tell it's a downclocking issue because of drivers.

post your results for 3dmark cpu score, sm 2.0/3.0 scores. also list your specs processor etc..

the clocks should be 500/800
