I plan on getting the right screwdriver for sure. Anyway rather than making a new thread I ask... How long is long enough on Memtest? I've been going over 6 hours now with no errors. Is it safe to assume it's fine? I just may...
Well long story short I stripped my screws, but luckly not too much. The RAM is in and under memtest right now. I kept the other 256MB stick in there, but I figure that is fine. I memtested them a while ago with no errors anyway. So...
I love mine, but the stitching is comming out. Not a huge deal now, but nice to know they will replace it down the road.
DBpowerAMP might do that. I'm not fully sure, but if you do have the discs you'd get a much better quality from just ripping them right into WMA rather than converting them.
Question: How the hell do I get the screws off the door if everything I have tried failed? I've tried every screwdriver, glasses screwdriver, butter knife, sharp knife, tweezers, and anything else that looked like it would work in there.
You can always just skin XP to look like Vista. http://en.crystalxp.net/bricopack.php Does fine by me. I think Vista's GUI looks good, but no need to upgrade. So I have this.
I have a stick of 1GB Kingston comming in today. After I install and memtest and all that can I use it with one of my 256MB sticks? I know some motherboards support this. Some don't. Does the 9300?
I looked at HP, but they failed to have an ultimate solution. They had a good processer and a crap graphics card, or a good graphics card, but a P4. I settled with Dell, and I'm happy with it.
So this RAM will work? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820221121 EDIT: Will it will, but it's PC3200.... nevermind.
Let's use this thread to once and for all list ALL the RAM types we can use in our 9300/XPS2. I only know of one. The Transcend 1GB Stick From New Egg. What are other options? (I did a search and came up with alot of nothing....
