Well it's not a huge deal. I have only seen it twice, though both in the same spot on the screen. I just though I'd ask because I'm paranoid like that. If it comes down to it I can remove Coolbits from the registry to send it in.... right?
Well if it continues Dell can fix it. They can never prove I OCed. Sure I have coolbits, but it's for.... well I'll need a reason.
If you have a footlocker or dresser you can lock you could keep it in there. Basically keep it locked or with you at all times.
I have OCed my 6800 a few times. Not manually I let the card "Detect Optimal Frequencies". Yesterday and today I have noticed a line across the screen that looks kind of raised and curved once each day. 1: Running 3DMark05...
It's not too big. You need a bag for sure, but the Kensington Contour Backpack takes care of that.
Buy a Kensington lock, and never leave it unattended. If you can't watch it for a few minutes, have a friend your with keep an eye on it. Also lock your stuff up when it's in your dorm.
I just used my 20GB MP3 player as a data drive to transfer large amounts of files at a time.
Are you 100% sure. I could have sworn it would fullscreen in WMP. I would just say use PowerDVD, but that isn't free.

The 9300 will more than play todays games great. If you want absolute max everything... well you could OC a bit, but you'll still fall short of the XPS. It's not a huge difference though.
