Does HP have fan control software for zd8000? I can't find anywhere, so probably not, and am looking for verification. If only we could get into the BIOS.
I have an hp zd8000 laptop. The A/C adapter got hot last night, I was looking, and I was at 11% battery power. The A/C adapter was like boiling hot! It works not, but how is that? Any else had this happen?
And is there any software...
Yeah, definitely. I upgraded the BIOS to F.32, and while it was upgrading, the middle fan turned on, so I know that it's functioning correctly!

hot/warm, I use a USB mouse and don't usually rest my wrist there or think of how hot it is, so I can't totally remember, but it's definitely the hottest spot of the laptop when I have checked. So maybe it's ok. I just was wondering...

My hp zd8000 has three fans, middle fan is never on, side two go on after awhile and during intensive things.
Problem? I think so, I'd like someone to verify.
