I tried several screws including the wireless one and didn't get any voltage
I disabled my wireless card and it did the trick, I've got an Inspiron 9400 though. Posted quite a bit with the issues on Dell's forums, I'd love to go to Vista, but gotta wait a bit. My audio would pop and click with the sigmatel drivers

I can do the grease, its no big deal. if I open the laptop it shouldn't void the warranty right? as long as I get all the screws back in lol.

I was able to load the 550c625 rom and it seems to run very stable, I definately notice the boost in F.E.A.R. combat, WoW is still the same, but I was able to run WoW on the highest settings at my native res
no yer right, they are, but this is my work machine and I loathe risking it, but I do have the best Dell warranty and we buy a ton of stuff from them, so I suppose if anything did happen ...
thanks for the response. yeah, that sounds about right for the dx10 stuff, that and I read DX10 won't be out for another 3 months anyway ... oh well, always got my rig I can upgrade and it would be a lot cheaper. the 7900 is still a good...
