yea a quick check I find a price to be about $150. Plus, my battery wear is near 100% (if I unplug laptop goes to standby in 3 minutes), and my adapter is bent. I don't think it is worth it to fix up my old laptop

hm i disappointed I haven't been able to find a laptop.. it seems that the models I'm interested in are all discontinued.

how about the u2 series? EDIT: I'm looking into their ultraportable 11.1" series notebook. Trying to find the current offering. So far I've determines it's u1e/u1f -> u2e. u3 is 13.3" so i guess that's a different line

I agree... ultraportables are simply more expensive for less.. but after lugging my z70v for over 3 years I really want a change of pace and get a super light one! Sigh. I mean if the U110 is $1000 then that would be okay, but even...

so hard to decide... if i just want a new laptop i could get the f6 for $800... eeepc for $500.. or lenovo u110 for $1350.. to hard to decide!!
