Imagine 1152x864 on a 17" CRT ... that's like XGA on that laptop screen. Now imagine in between 1280x960 and 1600x1200 on a 17" CRT ... that's like SXGA+ on that screen.

Well i finally downloaded 3DMark06, and got the same error message as before on the ORB page, but this time it lets me publish it. I just clicked the checkbox for 'published' and clicked update, and it was all sweet. For my 3DMark05...

Yep, in regards to FEAR, you have to manually specify the widescreen resolution in the settings.cfg, as described in that tweakguides tutorial. I was playing in 1152x864 and have now changed to 1440x900. Looks so much better filling...

512KB ADSL, so would take about 3 hours. Not really that long but i downloaded it once and didn't have enough hdd space left when it finished, so lost it when it tried to move from the cache to my saved directory... was a bit fed up so...
