they're blanck TDK DVD+Rs (and I tested these discs on my Compaq desktop, and they work)
this is the 1st time I'm trying to burn DVDs w/ my lappy, so the drive might have had this problem all along

My lappy's (specs below) DVD+R/RW won't seem to recognize DVD+Rs... although it does play DVD movies and burn CDs...
What could be the problem?

I think the System Select would have less compatibility issues (when I posted on Corsair's forum) and a lower latency time (a little, tiny bit faster)
The memory should work, if it doesn't, then Corsair will take it back and provide...
unless ur IGP (integrated graphics processor) has only 8 MB of shared RAM.... which shouldn't be right... o.O ....something wrong w/ the BIOS? or faulty RAM? run MemTest

i have a cooling pad for my lappy, and it makes a little difference (of about 2-3 C idling)... the only difference without cooling pad is that temp spikes more quickly, but once it gets to 60 C, the built in fans take care of it and...
