i use Avira (paid version that includes firewall and spyware block) AntiVir is the free virus protection one (equivalent to AVG free) but IMO its much faster and lighter on resources, i suggest you guys try it

i dont think the Air was ever meant to be a user's primary laptop. It is supposed to compliment your existing desktop or powerhouse notebook.... overall, it may be a weak laptop in comparison to others, but for the market its trying...
