So what's new in those drivers? Did they get rid of .NET crap? :-/

What's the point of the "crystalbright tecnhology". Displays serving both as displays and as mirrors? At least according to hoh.de specs, 1694 doesn't have DVI output.
Do you have that annoying white line on the bottom of the screen in non native resolutions? I did until I installed 5.3 version of the drivers. Of the notebooks with X700 and (W)SXGA screens please vote.
Offtopic, but: To play about 98% of the movies all you need is: ffdshow codec (supports mpeg4 (divx,xvid, etc), AC3) http://sourceforge.net/projects/ffdshow and Media Player Classic...
