Unless you want to "learn" how to use an Apple, I wouldn't recommend it. I wouldn't get a Sony either. Too expensive for what they offer. You can get an Asus for less that is as good as if not better.
What do you guys use to mange your wireless connection? Do you use the Windows management or the software that came with your wireless card? When I got my 700m, I was using Windows to manage my wireless connection. I got frustrated...
I deleted my restore and kept the diagnostics. At the time, the diagnostics was only 47 MB whereas the restore was over 3 GB.

Firefox is still safer. Windows Update only helps AFTER there's been some sort of attack/exploit and Microsoft releases a patch to fix it. Firefox is safer because most attacks are designed to go after IE and not smaller browsers....
I use LimeWire and BitComet for torrents. BitComet probably isn't the best torrent client but it has everything integrated and it's worked well for me.
I just told them that I had no way of making a backup CD and they sent me the OS, Drivers, and Apps CD's. Took maybe 5 minutes.
