Ok but still PowerDVD 6 is in the lead here. WinDVD 7 looks pretty blurry to me. Even if you consider the FFDSHOW filter has been tweaked for the crispyness. I am not impressed and sticking to my current DVD player software. Pricey...

BitSpirit is by far the best and fastest Torrent client around. It uses less then 5% of your CPU, and it's a solid app doing it's thing way faster then any other client I've seen in action so far.

I shutdown sometimes. But I mostly hibernate. When I do, I make sure I've shutdown all programs. It's just a great way of starting up faster. It does happen that I see my screen... it goes blank (black), and then the screen turns on...

Try LAN parties with small rooms where it gets really hot with PC's blowing out hot air left and right of you. Despite the stress loaded upon my XPS-2 by intensive network gaming, it handled perfectly. I love they way the power brick...

That's ok JaxChris! I was quoting GRC and even to him I was giving a mere suggestion. Have been doing quite some driver testing and benching on real world performance but I am not very impressed by the results, personally!

Never got into that Penguin, though I read a lot about this trick. Heck, I'll see how I feel about it when I give it a try!
