Boxing includes the time it takes for the notebook to get shipped from the processing plant in Maylasia to the Dell shipping center in the US.
Hmm.. the glitches don't occur while using the Dell Signed Drivers. They've only occured while using the modded Catalyst 3.10 drivers. Later, I'll be testing the signed drivers some more to see if the glitches occur at all on them.
I posted this at Dell forums as well. Did some more Call of Duty today. The "DIMM" temp was getting up to 96-97 and i started getting some horizontial line glitches, which is obviously not a good sign. Not sure what I'll do...

I was doing some more testing tonight. Call of Duty would push the "dimm" temp to 80-82 while the "gpu" temp would hover around 50-51. If they were switched, would a video card even survive being 80-82...
From my experience, I agree that they're swapped.

I've never seen the Xbrite either, but the Dell 8600 I just got this week with the UXGA lcd looks real nice. It's crystal clear at 1620x1200 resolution. Don't see any dead pixels either.
