buy an cross wired ethernet cord, lets you directly network. i just did it yesterday, works like a charm

my question was a) What is the benefit in laymans terms for converting to NFTS? and b) how easy is it to do?

i think its the latter; but should some conversion ideally be done when you buy your computer
