Yes, stay away from "in a box" surround sounds. I think the best for your money would be Energy's speakers which rival klipsch and B&W. They are great speakers.

Hey G Bruin, what fabric did you get? I wound up getting the Vellum fabric in the "flame" color. I have no idea what vellum feels like, so im in for a suprise.
