I read the article - thank you. I'm willing to spend a few extra buckazoids for a quieter rig, although the Area-51m is - compared to other P4 systems - already doing well.

You won't regret it - it's awesome to have so much space on the desktop. And it's a beauty in games like Homeworld (quite satisfying).

you'll get used to it. it took me 2 weeks to feel accustomed to the new screen (comming from 1024X768). Now I wounldn't wanna have less.

Interesting - in germany the graphic card is covered by the warranty if you use AA. I had several long talks with the german reps - and all said the same.

Ahh - finally found the revision no. - I had to remove the metal lid covering the memory sticks. *sigh* 4001 though - no surprise.

A pain when something like that happens, but you'll be extra happy to get one back with perfect pixels.
