Run Prime for 24 hours then you can consider it stable.

The latest chipset drivers from DELL (A09) are the latest ones from Intel v7.2.2.1006. I installed them yesterday after checking both websites.
My problem was caused by the Windows XP Pro SP2 Install CD I was using. It was silpstreamed and someone had thrown some old/other chipset Intel drivers on it... I re-installed my OS using a legit XP Pro CD and it's fine now.
I've had another look at the CD, seems like it's been slipstreamed and some other Intel chipset drivers have been dropped in. Doh!
Looks like there maybe a problem when doing a fresh install from an XP Pro SP2 CD... If you install the chipset drivers they don't seem to install properly on your machine... I normally do all my installs from an XP Pro SP1 CD but...
Got my new hard drive today so installed fresh copy of XPProSP2, then installed the latest chipset drivers from Intel (7.2.2.1006) Checked in Device Manager and under IDE/ATAPI controllers it states Intel(R) 82801FBM Ultra ATA Storage...
When is Vista due out?... It looks very nice.
