32-bit CPUs can address 2^32 memory locations, hence 4GB. A 64-bit CPU can address 2^64 locations, which means roughly 18 exabytes.
I used a T41 for a few weeks and I never even noticed any fan noise. For reference it was a 1.4 with 256RAM and 20gig HD.

I had a G3 iBook for a few months. It had a few nice features: size, weight, it was free. Overall, it was ok but it got really hot and it was pretty damn slow. It was even worse because it was too slow to play Warcraft 3 and too new...
You know, it's a laptop. It's tuned to a fairly specific point so that heat is at a minimum. Overclocking a PC is fine because you can always open the case, add more fans, put in watercooling, etc. Your laptop doesn't have that...
Nepean is Ottawa, at least now it is. Everything got amalgamted a few years back. The city is about 50km accross now... and traffic's a bitch for it too.
