Well, the entire lid works, but your going to have the black around it. You can't just change out the middle, unfortunately.

Well its just loose. If you still keep using it, it will eventually die. And you just might be able to. If they don't have the replacement motherboard, they might just send you a new one.

New motherboard time. The sound port is broken. You can resauder it to try to make it work, but other than that, you have to get a new motherboard.

I know you can ebay' the keyboard for about $20-$30, that's how I replaced mine. It was brand new too. As for the palm rest, might want to try to call Dell with the number F8447. The parts people sometimes have it in for $44.00
