I think it's nigh on impossible to find an LCD display that does 720 lines of resolution natively, as a lot if not all panels are produced with 768 lines for some reason. The TV will scale up the signal to 768 lines, I think.
There is always trade-offs between different technologies. For me at the moment I'm deciding between hanging a lcd off the wall in our bedroom, probably 32", or a 46" rear projection tv, which works out to about just over $2000...

Cant help you with most of that stuff but no one seems to be replying, so I can give a little bit of advice.... Constrast ratios, anything 1000:1 or greater is fine
