These really are just portable desktops. It is still alot easier to carry one of these around then a desktop and 20" monitor. I doubt any1 will even use the battery on these things.

I got mine from canadasys and they were great. They say they will prixe atch if u find a better deal.

The big draw of the w3j is the 14" screen and the fact that it still has such a good gpu. But if you want a 15.4", then i would go with the Z96J.

All the new stuff coming out is by intel and will be available to the macbook and pro. Both should be in the systems by some time next year but if you want a new laptop now, go out and buy one.

For your needs, the macbook is the picture perfect laptop. Macs and OSX are unbeatable for pictures, music, dvd and web surfing.
