If that home theatre system allows digital input (S/PDIF), I would chose that over standard line-out. Plus you should be able to listen your DVDs on 5.1 glory instead of limiting them to stereo.
I don't think it has one. The Ferrari 4000 service manual doesn't say a word about "trusted" computing either. Not that I miss it though. While the TPM chip is not evil on itself, the features the OS and/or BIOS may enable...
I can't verify it right now, but I believe that if you close (or don't let it start automatically) the Acer launch manager application, the WiFi and Bluetooth buttons won't work anymore.
I run XP x64 as my main OS on my Ferrari 4005. I've been pretty happy with it, mostly because we are lucky enough that Acer released all the needed 64 bit drivers. Stability wise, I think the machine crashed a couple times in 6 months...
I'll check when I'm back at my place after New Year's. I didn't bring my Ferrari 4005 to parents' lol
Hmm the LCD settings are there for me. Last ones I installed are the 5.12 x86 drivers with the Control Center.
