what do you reckon? So far I've identified:
- Precision M65 - fx350m
- MacBook Pro - x1600
- LG M1 or Samsung R65 - 7600
any others spring to mind? Nobody sticks a 7900gtx in a 15"er do they?
dammit, I've almost convinced my boss to get me a dell 20" or 24" lcd, and that's taken almost 18 months of asking. I think I'll be an old man by the time he springs for a $5k laptop...
woo! pity it's so expensive, and is only the red special edition... I'm hoping that they bring out the normal version and let us get the 7900gtx seperately...
now, we just need an aussie Bal`thzar to get us a good price
a few thoughts:
- for one, I dont believe there will be a significant increase in the development work for these nice physics effects. Gameplay-affecting physics are more complex, but these will have to be done on the cpu anyway....
video card shouldn't influence it at all. But yeah, I'd watch out for the crappy on-board sound card. I was installed Cakewalk Sonar on my 9300 (to use the awesome screen resolution) but it wouldn't work with my sound card, so I had to...
really? wouldn't the drive be the same size as that in the 9300/xps? There's a caddy for them (has to be ordered from china, though). Check the 9300 forum, there's a huge thread on running dual hard drives...
