yeah, could definatley get messy when those discs get mixed up. The first thing I do to any laptop when i get it is reformat, using my own copy of windows, I never even bother with the restore discs.
For notebooks, I think apple is jumping straight to Yonah, which is schedule for a Q1 2006 release. I wouldn't count on seeing many Yonah notebooks until probably late Q1 though.

If you have your own windows disc, go ahead and reformat it it via dos and install your own copy of windows, then go to http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/t...ceghdgngdgmm.0 to redownload all drivers / software and install. PS....
