It flickers at every resolution including 720p. I've even forced 1366x768. I'm going to assume it's the cable and try a better one.

I think what's happening is that HDMI only allows specific resolutions and either downconverts or upconverts resolutions that don't fit its criteria. For example, HDMI probably only supports HDTV resolutions - 480p, 720p, and 1080i. My...
