I don't know man, I think the part where they state "parts exchanges" means they expect some sort of part back. I they'll hit whatever metod of payment you used on the box for the cost of the exchange parts if you don't send it...

There is an option in the M1710 BIOS to use the dock PCI slot and a couple other options so I'm pretty sure it supports it...
