It's different for every CPU, more so when the CPU is clocked beyond specs. Just go through the stability tests (they're quick) and see for yourself.
There are many steps between 200ms and 10ms. 100ms fixes the pulsing for me and uses 10 seconds of CPU time after being on for 70 hrs . You must remember that the drop from 200ms to 100ms is only 2x, but from 200ms to 10ms is 20x =o

Also see if you can just open up your laptop a bit and get some air circulating in there. For example, in my 9300, the PCMCIA slot is right above the HDD. I took out the spacer card and the entire PCMCIA slot and it really helps in...
