yes it does somthing it gives u the keys fn and f2 to run at 100% fans speed if needed also it makes the fans jump on high at boot to avoid the old squiky fan syndrome

has any one who makes a clone made a bios yet that allows you to adjust voltages and FSB and other things? the bios is very stripped down.

is it safe? yes its totaly compatible with your motherboard and bios. PS check out my latest score in 05 i just ran it. not bad for a old ddr2 version of the 6800 huh?

updated my Sig with current benchmark scores

its hot in the room im in right now and im around 50 ( surfing and 3 small programs running ) but if i turn on the AC it drops to the 40's this is very very good if you look at my sig you will see my laptop isnt exactly running anything...

i like the fact the fans stay on and do not wait untill you peak to 60 again to restart.

depends if you boot up with battery or ac power and then unplug. boot on battery i can play most games 30 minat most before chop and sound goes to crap. boot on ac then unplug i play about 15 min. however just watching a dvd or surfing...
