So all I do is make a bootable CDROM,
and copy the entire contents of the BIOS (all files in the 568bv10s.zip file) to the root directory of the CDROM, burn it and boot?

DVD playback is broken on many notebooks (Sager 5680 included) if official Catalyst 4.6 and up are installed. DVD's playback at 2 fps.
The only remedy is to revert to Catalyst 4.5 drivers.
I know some people do not have this...
