I can not seem to burn and use DVD+RW media. When I go to format it for DLA I get a Format failed due to general failure I would like to know if anyone else had this problem. I can burn DVD+R just fine. I would like to use RW...

Umm ...I believe throwing 20 lbs of books against your notebook screen and then using force on the shoulder straps to swing it around will definitely push some G forces against your notebook screen possibly cracking or damaging...
