That's really depressing. We all know that if either of the drivers didn't suck as much we could have all the features of both easily. Especially given the old synaptics driver used to support middle click....

if you can find a specific and common problem with your current model, point that out and if it has been fixed several times and it keeps recurring, they will offer a replacement. i've had this situation happen TWICE. inspiron 9300...
