Well I have a 2.5inch enclosure and it powers its self on ONE usb port. It's a 100 Gig. so 500ma is limit? Any way to convert all those useful un-used usb ports in to something more then un-used usb ports? But the topic is seriously here...

Yea according to what I have been reading a 5400 rpm is more then adequate.... 7200 is what 2% increase? I can't even tell. You would have to be like a benchmark jockey like some of the people on here lol.
