You can use pc3200, but the bios isn't enabled to run it at 400mhz, it will only run it at 333mhz like pc2700. Hopefully in the future Acer will release a bios update that will let it run at 400mhz, so it is worth getting pc3200 anyway.

That is pretty reasonable for an x300...about the same score as a 64mb x600 i believe. You should be able to play most newer games at lower settings. The newest games are mostly graphics card dependent, so the lower speed CPU won't make...
