I don't really care about battery life, 'cause the zd8000 is a DTR. The problem here is that I have never used an A64, so I don't know if it is as powerful as the P4 or even better as you say. I've used a Compaq with an AMD Sempron...

Well...you are right. But I'm concerned because there's a warranty term that sais something like this: "Major parts will be replaced only once..." But the worst part is that major parts are almost everything!!! They are:...
