I just got the Z63A. The main difference is it does not have a dedicated video card (so games won't really run) and it does not have Bluetooth built in. I bought mine from www.geared2play.com and it came with an 8cell battery...

Besides, we will all be using OSX for Intel by then.

Do you mean software for playing DVD's? If so, I recommend BSPlayer or VLC player.
