IMHO it is ...

windows is showing the maximum used frequency of the cpu since last boot ... you can see the real current frequency with 3rd-party tools like mobilemeter ...

i'm using mobilemeter ...

mine is getting 75° C cpu-temp and 43° C HDD-temp, when playing The Sims 2 ... it would be nice, if acer would offer an extra cooling-fan for replacing the optical drive ...

i tried suse 9.3 from livecd ... except sounddrivers and screenresolution (by default max. supported 1400x1050) it worked fine ...
