in one of the earlir driver revision 7 series on my desktop (5900 XT) the shadows in CS:S would screw up and lighting would be really blotchy unless it was set to high quality, it may have been a driver bug though

yea idk why dell has them from the factory like that, i loged into gmail when i first got my xps and was so discusted by the almsot boxy pictures i just about returnd it on the spot, but , knew it had to just be a setting someware.

but yea expect some ass kissing when you put in for a new xps, if none is offerd tell them unless they compensate you for your time (in the form of a carring case) that you would just leik to return and refund

most companys push coupons at the end of their fiscal quarters, to push their rev. as high as possible for earnings reports. idk if dell does this but most computer companies do push their big coupons then

gameing rigs arnt cheap,, the best way to go is build yourself on a custom built gameing rig, dont go x2, go FX-55 or FX-57, faster, most games arnt multithreded thus minimal increase in performance with x2 over standard amd 64
