i would say that the hard disk is jammed. My friend's Vaio won't start too coz of HD prob.

i see from ur sig that u have CAS 2.5 and running in 1T command. Is this your RAM sticks' default setting or u changed it using a64info?

logan, what about gaming with a 2GB of RAM. Does it makes a different if compared to a 1GB of RAM. I'm thinking of upgrading mine to 2GB but still hesitating.

I pretty much prefer the fan to be always on to keep the machine cool and well within the optimal operating temperatures. But, everyone floats on his/her own boat.
