for DDR to work, both channels should be the same physcial size. That could explain why the 768 might be a bit slower than 512. For load times, more ram is always better (DDR or not).

As long as I'm running fine, I'll stick with the original bios. AOpen definitely needs to be more descriptive on thier updates. I might consider it if I knew what the update was all about.

I guess I'm showing my age here, but I remember a time when people bought new hardware to keep up with the demands of software. Hardware is soo far ahead of software right now its not funny, and I really dont foresee anything changing...
