*TIP* A good way of testing GPU temps is to use Unreal Tournament for example. When playing press alt+enter to run the game in a window, then you can see live and true temps at the same time =)

If the comp breaks because of overheating, the warranty covers it definately (if you havent overclocked or anything else)! But geforce for example reduces its clocks when heating too hot to prevent breaking, thats why the card slows down...

Can you see the powermizer options with the 78.10 drivers which you downloaded from fujitsu-siemens.com? Which options are hidden in the original 78.10 in the nvidia control panel compared to modded .inf drivers from laptopvideo2go?
