What I know is, video have to go through firewire and not usb even the DVcam came with it. The usb is mean for transfer still picture from the memory card in your Dvcam. This is my experience with my panasonic DVcam.

Your M70 don't have a firewire port. You have to buy a pmcia card that ve firewire port. Is it a new type of DVcam? You can transfer the video footage through usb? So far what I know is the Video footage have to transfer by firewire or...
I m still gauging the ram pattern usage. It seem like open different application have a different ram usage. If the overall usage is ram hunger, Than I would upgrade to 2G ram. I monitor through the task manager.
Thanks Mitchello. In the task manager, the physical memory show available about 500mb+. It is during running premiere pro, adobe encore, windows explore and IE.I guess it should be enough. Than what are the things that drag my laptop...
I have a 1G ram in my M60. But my application running slow now compare last time. (when not much application in my M60) Most of the time, I m using video editing and graphic like photoshop. Sometime will use together with a few browser...

Now I try another way. I have order an internal modular bay for HDD without the HDD. When arrive, I just put in my existing HDD and hot swap the DVD burner. Free up my 2usb.

I do video editing on my M60 and it is excellent. It have everything I need. Firewire, good graphic card, fast HDD, second HDD, DVDRW burner, output back using s video and fast cpu for rendering. Even faster than my P4 2.5G desktop....
