I think the manual - or an addendum - reccomends installing without the MP3 player inserted...

if you hold down the power button for ~7 seconds or so it will shut down the laptop... Graunted, windows tells you not to do that, but i think XP is a little more forgiving.

It dosent work with 2k. (read: it dosent work correctly) XP Pro is your best choice for full hardware support on the 8890. Maybe linux, but that takes quite a bit of time... At anyrate... Windows calc.exe seems to think that...
