Don't block the exhast fans on the bottom of the laptop. It's a 10-15 degree difference for me while playing games on my z70v.

Get a 10.4" screen laptop and BAM, at least 6-7 hours+ from a 8cell battery.

Once you go with widescreen notebooks, you can't go backto non-widescreen, at least for me. If graphics didn't matter and portability was the most important, I'd go with the z33a- batteries can last you for hours on with the 9 cell...
