Yes, CHC reports the correct estimated time remaining as far as i can see, though I haven't used the computer on battery much, so don't have much experience in using it on that laptop.

CHC can read the temp, and i8kfangui or i9kfangui can control the fan, surely since both can be done, someone who is sharp with this kind of thing could either complete the capabilities of one of the programs, or make another that can...
