I purchased an alienware because I thought they would be coming out with new video cards rapidly. Anyone know of anything coming out soon? I am not happy with my laptop's performance ...1024.768 in COD is not what I thought I would be...

well it wouldn't even let me try 1600x1200...just went to 800x600 (yuck)...i did however get about 300 points out of 3dm2001. I have the radeon card, 1gb ram, 3.2ghz cpu....why can't i get mine to run at 1600? gr oh...btw...i got them...

you run COD at 1600x1200? I am running the omega drivers and I have to run it at 1024x768 . Guess I'll go start downloading.

i just read in a magazine that voodoo and dell both have user upgradeable cards in them. I bought mine b/c of the upgradeable card/case/name.

I am on 1.08w...I tried booting off of a cd...cuz i gots no floppy...didn't work. I can't remember what I need to do to make it bootable...owell I guess I will go hit alienware's website.

I downloaded 1.09 but I never ran it...I read somewhere else that all of the laptops where coming with 1.08, and that's the version that supposedly fixed all of the power issues...I guess I will go check.
