Sager Communication Update Just received an email from Mr. Ling at Sager regarding my 8790's RMA. Uh... a little LATE, perhaps? I wrote a stern letter regarding my thoughts on the system that Sager must be using if it's taking 3+ months...
Doesn't sound normal. And in all of the cases of overheating/artifacting that I recall having read about in the past few years, I don't remember a single one having any sort of issue like this. Very atypical, I'd say. Voltage regulator...

Seeing as it won't let me edit my last post, I have to post another. Last night, turned on the 5760 and a Elantech screen popped up telling me the drivers were installed (uh... a little late, maybe?) Version shows to be Synaptics 8.3.4...
Considering that it was booting live off the CD, I wasn't surprised that a few things didn't work. Was more surprised at how much did work. I figured that if I'd actually installed it on my HD, it would've been able to write to the drive...
