Well, I haven't seen a rash of 9890 mobo failures here yet so hopefully it's more reliable. The whole point of the new mobo though is the compatibility with the 7800GTX. If you send yours in and don't request an upgrade to the 7800GTX...

Gator, so far I'd say that if your mobo dies like mine did and it's out of warranty, then it's definetely worth the upgrade.. not sure at this point if it'd be worth it if it would cost the full $900.. I'll decide that once I start...

Ok, I just got my 9860 back (it's now a 9890) what are the drivers everyone's getting the best results with and what utilities is everyone using for overclocking? (this is with the Geforce 7800 GTX).
