what is media direct. i mean, i press the button on the front end of my laptop but nothing happens. all the others work. isnt the media direct button supposed to launch media applications? also, the mute and volume buttons always...

i am about to order this laptop until i read several user reviews at cnet.com stating that the screen is TOO glarry and almost unusable. any thruth to this. any reason i should not order this today? thanks for all help.

leads me to my second question, is it worth the wait and price difference? i am currently looking at a dual core dell under 1000CAD. i just worried for the new technology the price will be at 2x higher. any thoughts?
